HealthVision2020 is a coalition of 15 prominent health organizations who are proposing the creation of a well-funded provincial health promotion foundation that will make Albertans the healthiest people in Canada by the year 2020.

We envision that by the year 2020 Alberta will be a much healthier place to live, work and play…Where the burden of chronic disease has been dramatically lifted…Where the demands on health care have been significantly reduced…Where individuals are healthier, more productive and better able to achieve their life potential.

We know this strategy will work. Other health promotion foundations around the world - in Australia, Switzerland and Austria - have achieved significant results. A meaningful investment in health promotion will have a profound impact on the health of Albertans.
